Duality by ART+COM

ART+COM are a well known and highly regarded German interaction design studio who have done a number of public interactive installations. Joachim as a director spoke about their practice and their approach to using media technologies to create dynamic spatial experiences.For a new building complex in downtown Tokyo, ART+COM has developed an artistic installation. It is located on the bank of an artificial pond at the exit of the metro station Osaki. Since I’ll wonder around Switzerland soon I had to check the terrain and I’ve found Fabric | ch. Founded by architects Christophe Guignard and Patrick Keller, a telecom engineer Stéphane Carion and a computer engineer Dr Christian Babski to become studio for architectural, aesthetics and technological research.
They’ve been around since 1997 and they are working in the architectural domain. They are looking for the relationship we maintain with our habitat, our workspace, our living environment and try to evolve it into a contemporary space which combines physical and digital territories.
